  11.          The software package  FT920.ZIP  is only  FT920  European
  12. Version !
  13.          This software damage the EEPROM program of radio!!!
  14.          Need change 2 chips and the price in USA is   U$286,00 per part
  15.  
  16.          Not use the software for RS-232 port.

  22.  
  23. [A] Environment
  24.    1. Computer 286 (12MHz), MS-DOS 3.1 or later
  25.    2. RS-232C (Straight 9 ways type) cable
  26.    3. Software (att0274.EXE, GEN-TBL.TXT)
  27.  
  28. [B] Frequency expand programming procedure
  29.    1. Connect the FT-920 and the computer using RS-232C straight
  30.       cable
  31.    2. Press and hold [STEP] key and [LOCK] key on the FT-920
  32.       then Turn the power switches on.
  33.       (Display 000000 blinking at the MSD)
  34.    3. Type "0761161" to the pass word form ten keypad then
  35.       press [ENT] key
  36.       (You will hear beep sound and display back to frequency 
  37.       as the normal operation.)
  38.    4. Press [MENU] key (Get into MENU mode)
  39.    5. Select "F-SS (Destina)" then [ENT]
  40.       (Display will show the current setting)
  41.    6. Select "OUTSIDE" rotating sub-DIAL knob for clockwise, 
  42.       followed [ENT] key.
  43.       (Stop blinking of "OUTSIDE" display)
  44.    7. Press [MENU] key. (Display backs to the frequency mode.)
  45.    8. Insure that you can not transmit on any frequency ( if you can
  46.       stop here do not go on your systems outside table in your eprom
  47.       is already programed, going any farther will result in damage to
  48.       your radio.)
  49.    9. Turn the computer switch ON.
  50.   10. Insert the frequency expand DISK to the computer DRIVE A:\
  51.   11. Set MS-DOS mode prompt
  52.   12. Type "A:"
  53.   13. Check the DISK typing "DIR".
  54.       (att0274.EXE, GEN-TBL.TXT)
  55.   14. Type "att0274  gen-tbl.txt") then RETURN
  56.       (If you are connecting to the  RS-232C COM2 port so you must
  57.       type "att0274  gen-tbl.txt  /C" then RETURN)
  58.   15. You will see "TX Table Write Complete" when the expand 
  59.       programming installation is completed.

  63. With the radio off, press[STEP] and [LOCK] (under VFO-A) and hold 
  64. these two keys in while you turn the raido on. Now release the two keys.
  65. Enter the following password: 0761161, then press [ENT].
  66. Press [MENU],Rotate VFO B though the "U" settings till you get to the 
  67. "F" Menu (F-01 F-35).
